Last December I purchased a 2018 440xi Grand Coup. This is my sixth BMW. My Coup now has 10,000 miles or so on it, and last weekend a small stone entered the radiator and caused a leak.

I brought my leaking car into to Hansel and was told that the damage wasn't covered by my warranty because stones are considered a road-hazard.

However, when I pointed out to my service tech, Matt Quinn that the month after I bought my car BMW began to install rock guards as standard equipment on all new 440 radiators, he promised to take my problem to his warranty people.

After the situation was reviewed, Matt contacted me to say that his warranty people agreed to accept the damage as part of my warranty, which saved us a considerable amount of money and hassle.
I'd consequently would like to commend Matt for his proactive representation of my predicament. I also would like to thank who-ever in your organization gave him their approval.

I drive BMW's because of the quality of their product and it's great to see that Hansel Auto Group embodies a similar quality with their people.
